According to the City news and analysis website, Mehdi Chamran said on the sidelines of the 420th session of the Tehran City Council, in a gathering with reporters, that today the council treasurer’s report on the Tehran municipality’s income and expenditure account through the end of 1404 and the months of Farvardin and Ordibehesht of this year will be presented. He added that the remaining articles of the bill to support people in the American-Zionist war will also be reviewed today. The bill to build shelters is also on the agenda.
He said that the view toward the bill to support people is not military, adding: Our opinion was not that military forces should also be stationed in places where people are present, because they may come under attack and people may be harmed. Of course, the police should also anticipate safe locations.
Chamran, regarding the paving of the capital’s streets and in response to a reporter’s question about vehicle front-end damage due to the quality of the asphalt, noted: I do not accept this issue; in any case, due to the war budget, if it continues, we may remove many items such as curb construction, painting, and even asphalt from the budget. Necessities in this area must be identified.
The head of Tehran City Council said: Officials are not talking about negotiations. Trump talks about negotiations when energy prices rise and starts a war when prices fall. They are saying their own dreams and fantasies. 
He continued: I have no news about a gasoline price increase. We will announce our opinion on this matter to the government.
Chamran, regarding the capacity of Behesht-e Zahra (peace be upon her), noted: The cemeteries organization will soon present a bill to the council, and I also had a proposal that I hope will come to fruition.
He said that warnings have been issued to Ziaian Hospital, adding: Rasul Akram Hospital has moved toward making itself safe, and we hope other hospitals will also take steps toward safety.
