According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of Arak Municipality, Dowlatabadi, Deputy for Infrastructure and Urban Transportation Affairs of the Arak metropolitan municipality, referring to the importance of upgrading protective infrastructure in riverside areas, announced the continuation of the implementation of the Qareh-Kheyriz River retaining wall project in the Karahrud area.
Dowlatabadi, explaining the details of this project, stated: Implementing the retaining wall along this route is more than a simple construction project; it is part of the municipality's strategy to achieve sustainable urban development and protect citizens' residential boundaries against potential hazards.
The Deputy for Infrastructure Affairs of Arak Municipality added: Given the special fabric of the Karahrud neighborhood and the need to secure the banks of the Qareh-Kheyriz River, this operation is progressing in strict compliance with technical and engineering standards. Our goal in implementing this project, in addition to strengthening the riverbed, is to prevent soil erosion and also improve the visual and sanitary appearance of the surrounding environment for the respected residents of this area.
He concluded: With a special focus on peripheral areas, urban management has prioritized the completion of infrastructure projects with the aim of fairly distributing services, and we are trying to bring this project into operation according to the scheduled timeline by continuing activities on various work fronts.
